This new version features rewritten rules designed to incorporate lessons learned from more recent games. They aim to be clearer and more accessible, without compromising playability.
The rules governing infiltration, defensive fire, and cavalry rotation are now consistent with those developed for the games OPPIDUM and GUISCARD 2.1.
Another aesthetic change involves the new combat tables, which adopt the look and ergonomic layout of those found in OPPIDUM:
- A single, consolidated combat table replaces the previous two.
- Results are color-coded and feature specific symbols for easier reading.
Updated Play Sheets 1 and 2 are also included (provided as a single double-sided sheet).
